We have been to some nice places about 50 kms west from Chania City

We have been to Carneval at Rethymno. It was one of the most remarkable events I visited in Crete and is hard to describe its beauty and atmosphere.

Chania and Polytechnio Covered by Snow. According to various Cretens, something like this happens once a time during 10 - 30 years.

This is a photo gallery from the journey to my friend Jiri Chludil, who worked at Switzerland. In the same time, there was a visit of a work group Mummy. That is why thre are on some photos also my superior Pavel Slavik and colleagues Zdenek Mikovec and Martin Klima. There are depicted some places around Lake Zurich such as Wadenswill, Richterswill, Zurich, waterfalls near Zurich and mountains over Richterswill.
