The My Pulverized Coal Combustion is a realtime interactive application for modelling and analysis of combustion in industry boilers. It is based on a simple fluid simulator, which allows realtime simulation of air flow inside the boiler area. The computation of combustion process is maintained using special particle system, which is by its nature suitable for both visualisation and simulation of the combustion processes inside the boilers. The application is suited especially for interactive design of boilers and for education purposes.

Mobile Knowledge Management using multimedia-rich portals for context-aware information processing with pocket-sized computers in Facility Management and at Construction Site

The MUMMY project, funded by IST 5th FWP (Fifth European Community Framework Programme) is based on using multimedia-rich portals for context-aware information processing with pocket-sized computers in Facility Management and at Construction Site.

My task in this project was the design and implemention of communication client for SVG collaboration, including user interace.

My PhD thesis, which was defended 27.4.2006 in Czech Technical university in Prague.

The field of my research was applied Computational Fluid Dynamics - particularly simulation and visualization of combustion processes, based on fast computation of air flow using effective computational schemes for Euler equations and particle systems. It resulted in creation of real-time fluid based methods for interactive modelling of combustion dynamics in industry coal boilers used in power plants.
